I think that I am up for a trip to AC again -- on Tuesday mid-day. I figured that I should get the Heliopan multicoated UV/Skylight filter for the 70-200 (I already have one for the 17-40) and possibly a hotshoe bubble level. This should be my last trip in a long time!

Anyone need anything? You have my cell.

They didn't have any hot shoe levels when I was there a couple of weeks ago. Let me know if they have them in stock. I want to get one.

Thanks.

if you dont mind telling me scotts price .. (its so i can squeeze my supplier.. ) and is that for the same cards.
I can get the Elite pro cheaper. (but they are not as flash)

A number of people here have access to TechPac (Ingram Micro), not sure if you can get cheaper than them, I checked my price once, then my employer at the time which was a Gold Partner, and the price was the same on Kingston.

o.k. so got a bit of a dilemma. have been here a year building a business and it's going...o.k. as you would expect from any new business starting in a place where you know no one. it's o.k. though. anyway just been offered a job managing a photo biz on a ship going from Greece to Sth America, including Egypt, Africa and Antarctica, Chile, Rio, etc etc. stopping at all places on the way- for myself and partner.

I seriously don't know what to do.

Honestly.

Take the job. From what you have described its a once in a life time opp. Free travel - accommodation and a salary. As you said the biz here has been going a year. Put it on ice go for a trip. image the photos you will get, the people you will meet and the contacts that you will make.

Can you honestly see the biz here being able to provide you with those opps and afford you to take the breaks to chase them.

You don't have kids, and to be honest what do you have to lose. you made a biz now whats to stop u doing that again.

How longs the new job for?

nicely put, and you're right, it's the ops for all the places i have'nt been yet- thats the dilemma! also right- the biz can be done again. the job is a 5 mth stint, the ship caves after that, so organizing printers off etc at the end in Rio. after that then maybe go onto another ship for a few mths, a big one to make some serious bucks, would be a good time to hit Alaska about then maybe, which would be my last frontier to cover.

thanks for the input
