From last nights walk

Nice work Tony. Sky looks a bit drab, anything you can do with it? You coming on GKPE 6?

I bought a house today, in Johnsonville. First is the front, 2nd is my new office - which has a separate entrance so customers don't have to wander through my house :) I take possession 2nd March, luckily I have no wedding that weekend :)

Looks pretty good Tim. Nice that the office has it's own entry.

I NEED it back end of Feb, or I will be having to borrow something!

Pete, you know where to find me. No use being an assistant if the boss doesn't have a camera to shoot with:p

Hey was wondering if you guys could give be some tips on buying a tripod. What's good, what's bad, what to look out for, what's too expensive, brands names, etc.

Thanks

Nice - you'll be converting that big garage to a studio? or does this mean you'll be paying road user charges like the rest of us... I guess the train's within staggering distance.

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

tip 1) don't take Tony with you to Ak camera when you're "looking for a tripod" ;)

what's your budget? what's your heaviest load likely to be?

I'm very happy with my Manfrotto. Had no problems with it. It's heavy when you have to do a day trip with it though.
