So I went back, armed with advice from here. Rather then post virtually the same content with just more DOF, I decided to do a composite of 3 stages of the same damselfly over 15 minutes. The first 2 shots are within seconds of each other, and the other is aprox 15 minutes later. The first shots are F/11 ISO-800 and 1/320s The third shot is F/9 ISO-200 and 1/200s. I brushed the grass out of the way for the third as well. I only had the idea to do a composite when processing, or I would have done identical angles and apertures. At least it co-operated and stayed in relatively the same spot.
