I had so much fun with theese guys...not only where they incredibly photogenic, but they where so easy going! rare to find!
Plus, it had been raining on and off all morning, and the shoot was for 2pm, so luckily, at 1.450, the rain stopped, the sun stayed behind the clouds, a light wind stayed around to rustle hair, and it was just perfect!

Would love some cc on these, I am having trouble getting them to pop.

Have done levels, contrast and some colour adjustments, but they just feel a tad 'off' to me :(

any help appreciated! want to get them perfect for this wonderful family!

here is another one....the original image was really green, as the grass was (kust finished raining, it had that fluro look)
I set the white balance to flash, as I was using the 430 as fill flash.

I put this one in gold as I felt it was too cool before, but think Imay have gone overboard? this was using the smart brush in elements, 'sunset' filter

The first one looks like a little too much flash was used and it was on the camera. It would have helped to get the flash off the camera and turn the FEC down. Just a touch of flash would have been enough. The second photo white balance looks way off the skin tones do not look natural. The poses are nice.

The exposure and white balance are the nicest in the last one above. I like the poses and expressions better in the 1 st two.

Yes, WAY overboard. Pull back the yellows and maybe add some magenta to counter the green from the grass. This is why shooting a grey card can help. Its not always perfect, but it'll get you in the ballpark and you can adjust to taste from there.

Yes! I forgot to bring the grey card!

Thankyou for the tip about the magenta!
