Anybody else not using their DSLR since getting a G1x or Gxx

Nah. The G1x is fine, but there is no way in hell it can replace my 5D3.

But ask me the same question about the full frame NEX after I've bought it. My answer might be very different.

I have been shooting for more than 20 yrs, and have had just about every lens, including most "L"s, and what you see I have now is what I use, 99% my 85mm for basketball, and the G1x for everything else.

I,ve been using the G1x less and the 5D3 a lot more now that macro bug season is in full season. Used the Canon G1x again this weekend found as previously its slows your photography down in a positive way.

Sometimes I travel light and carry the 5D3 with a 50 1.4 lens in combination with the G1x thats a very workable kit package.
