CPL and extreme light

Hallo everyone,
I've been visiting Cadiz, southern Spain, and, as a tourist, got there around midday, when the light is so hard and strong that taking photos can easily turn into failure.
Used a CLP, which I had almost never used before amd these re the results, what do you think?

You should show us what they looked like before the CPL was installed. Then we have something to compare the images to.

I don't have the same shots without polarizer as it was not a shooting only trip. What I found hard was to get rid of greenish halo on the raw files which I thought could be due to the polarizer (kind of a cheap one)
