well, forget about getting some BIF's with these guys. they're super fast and turn on a dime, like Swallows.
however, shooting them in landing mode was the best i could do, at least for now.

I tried this a couple of weeks ago and figured out the same thing that you did, you have to catch them when they're coming in for a landing. The males are very dark almost black it's hard to get a good exposure on them. Didn't get anything as good as you have here. I'm going to try again when the light is better. -Slice
