OK, it wasn't a Nikon or Sigma white lens, because they never did a white 1000mm either (so far as I know). My point was simply that it is not a valid assumption that "it was a white lens, therefore it was definitely a Canon lens", as other manufacturers make / made white lenses. People use lenses made by other manufacturers on Canon all the time, you can get adapters to fit almost anything to a Canon camera, and old manual telephotos are a popular choice for many people due to the cost of a big L lens.
It probably was a Canon lens, and not 1000mm, I don't know, I haven't seen the clip. I was just stating that it doesn't HAVE to be a Canon because it is white.
