The game will last 7 Days and whoever can produce the best edited image (as judged by me) will be picked and it'll be their turn to post their unedited picture for all of us to take a crack at.

The participants must have their "Image Editing OK" turned on and they must provide at least a simple breakdown of how they edited the image, some entrants are a little vague on this point, please give us all details so we can learn and share tips. For instance if you use the unsharp mask tool or Smart Sharpen, provide us with the adjustments you used so others can try them out.

You can post multiple images, but the first image you post will be the one that is judged - all other images will be considered for knowledge and tip use only.
Feel free to comment and/or ask questions at any time. This is a good competition for learning new methods, so let's make it a bit more dynamic. I will be judging edits, not comments. Feel free to comment on the original image as well.

If you happen to be the winner of the game please start the next one with the title of the game and the following number. For example…the next game should read "Before & After #481".

Submissions end, Monday, July 22th, 2013 at 8:00PM (GMT+2) and a winner will be announced.

My kind of image yb98.

Opened in ACR and reduced exposure by 0.5EV. Reduced highlights and whites and blacks. Increased clarity and vibrance, sharpened and then opened in CS6. Duplicated BG and did portrait crop. Hue and saturation adjustment to get the blue I wanted then put in pinlight blend mode (I think). Bit of light painting on the water to get more sunlight on it, then smart sharpened to finish

All done in Viveza and LR 3. Removed a bit of sensor slurm. Lightened left side in viveza, bit of fill light and saturation in LR.

Lightroom- straightened horizon, bumped contrast and played with wb.
Photoshop- mask in boat to balance pic with side jetty/island thing. Levels/rgb and new fill layer/blend mode multiply to get slight fade and eliminate rings in the sun.

Magic lantern'd T2i, a 1d2n, 15-85, rokinon 8 and 85mm, nikon 55 f1.2, sigma 24mm f1.8 and Tokina 400mm creeperPrime.

Sorry for being a little late.
Good work everyone but my preference goes for Dawicka2's edit.
I like the way you eliminates rings in the sun and the boat adds really something to the pic.
A suggestion for NigelD: this is original but I think that replacing the sun with a moon would have been more realistic.
