Hey all! I'm heading to Seattle this week and will be spending a few days up in the San Juans, based on Lopez. Any "must do" locations up there? I know I'll be checking out Watmough Bay on Lopez and Mt. Constitution on Orcas.

Any others?

Thanks!
Al

Lime Kiln Lighthouse is a popular subject.

Sure thing. I'm not too familiar with the islands, so I can't offer up any other suggestions there. If you have time though Artist Point at Mout Baker is well worth the relatively short drive.

Reflection lake is there too.

I haven't shot on Orca's Island before but I've been to San Juan Island quite a few times. There are plenty of photo op's in Friday Harbor, Lime Kiln Lighthouse, English Camp, Roche Harbor, Young Hill (nice view looking West if you're willing to hike a bit), and Cattle Point Lighthouse. It's a nice drive all over that island. Enjoy your trip!

Just to follow-up: Thanks everyone for your suggestions! I had a great trip -- I've never seen so many bald eagles, at least a couple a day! Here's a non-eagle shot, but a nice lighthouse from Shark Reef Point.
