This stereo shows the beauty of westernmost Cornwall, England, where I live nearby. On the horizon is shown Cape Cornwall (one of only two capes in Britain) and in the foreground the harbour of Sennen Cove. I took this shot because I like experimenting with light and shade in stereos and the boat featured is naturally framed within the shot. This stereo looks better in larger dimensions, but you can still get an impression of the loveliness of the place from this size.

This is crossed stereo or 3D. Sit between 2-3 feet from your monitor. Cross your eyes slightly. The left eye looks at the right image; the right eye looks at the left image. Do not go bug eyed. Relax. A central image giving depth will appear.

300D handheld cha-cha, processed in Stereo Photo Maker.

Another great 3-D picture!
Beautiful scenery, I feel like I'm looking over your shoulder.

Take it easy, Alan, the crossing of eyes is minimal. Once a stereo pops and you have the knack viewing gets easier and easier! Be so kind as to tell me when you succeed. :)

Its not so much the background, its the forground (as far as i can see) that does all the tricks.
That bench or whatever it is seems to float in midair.
Also i need to say here that the expossure is absolutely spot on.

Well, what else could i expect but perfection from someone who is the master of 3D ?

And 1 question...which is the other cape in Britain?

***** 5 of them again , worth it.:D

You are right, Dimitri, it is mostly the foreground with the stereo depth in this one. In a larger format it is possible to see layering in the boat but not readily so in this size (unless you know what to look for ;) ).

The other cape is in Scotland, Cape Wrath, my friend!

Five stars, wow, thank you very much indeed!! :D

You are most generous about my stereo photograpy, VBW; likewise I am gratified that my 3Ds give others pleasure. Add me to your Buddy List if you wish. :)

Another great 3D shot Balliolman....I'm now at the point that I can stare at the images for long periods of time and appreciate the nuances contained within the photographs. My concern is that my eyes dont even hurt anymore!! Keep them coming.

Saw the 3D in this one so quickly I didn't have time to examine the scene in 2D first as I usually do. One of your best, Balliolman.
