Can anyone here help looking at this picture and comment if that would affect image quality? There is a small scratch at the rear element of this Sigma 18-35 lens.

Have you tried taking a picture against say a black and white background and see if it is visible after magnification?

Seems like some kind of coating peel... :rolleyes:

Could be a problem if stopped down to f/16 and shooting against bright light?

Any damage to optics will effect the value of the lens - could send it to Sigma and see what they say? (if you select not to have the repair done, they just charge you postage to return)

Yeah, my 2nd that day had a hard time shooting against the window light too..

Settings come with experience :)

sigma on a Fuji xt2.. great combo , AF with a fringer adapter.. however , I think I will be Manual focusing in the future as it tends to often not be accurate
