they usually jump the flash,but getting them real early in the morning ( 6.30-7.00 ),puts the odds in your favour.

another great set, #4 is my favorite.

have you tried adding a secondary flash to illuminate background? I don't mind black backgrounds at all (some people do), but I also like to see color on the BG.

I have everything needed to use a second flash,but we walk a lot of trails,and don't really want to carry too much extra stuff,as I already carry an extra body and lens,etc.....
besides,the black BG doesn,t bother me at all.

wonderful set and variety denis! I looked for male horse and deer flies when I was in Russia an was not able to find any, are they hard to find?
