I met an old friend for lunch a couple of days ago and he turned up in this - Ferrari 365GTB/4. He hadn't told me that he was bringing it along, so I wasn't expecting to do do a car shoot and used what kit I had in the truck. I am planning to do a full shoot towards the end of August, when I can hopefully do it justice.

That should be fun to re-shoot. Can you guess my first thought when I saw #5? ; )

Thanks for your comment PhotosGuy, my guess is that you would clone out the dead fly and imperfections. Right?

If so, I did consider that, but I decided to show the car as it is. This is not a garage queen or a show car, it is driven whenever he gets a chance and the sun is shining, which I'll grant you isn't too often in the UK. However, he believes that these cars should be used for what they were designed for, despite the value, and he recently drove it down to the Classic Le Man meeting and home again.

Was I right?

Paul

If the black spot is a fly, then it's positioned just about where it would be if the horse just took a dump. ; )

I could not agree more on that attitude!
