F1 Testing @ Silverstone

Here are some shots I took over the 3 glorious days.

CC welcome, as always. All shot with the 500 F4 handheld (my arms are sore after 3 days!).

Really nice shots, no. 6 particularly conveying the actual speed and energy of an F1 when being driven hard...

I was there on Friday morning but my old cheapo Sigma lens seems to refuse to focus on any moving remotely quickly anymore

Nice set of shots, I'm not surprised your arms sore waving a 500mm f4 I thought my Sigma 120-300 was bad enough Does anyone know the significance of the green lights, I know they use red in the wet, does it signify a rookie.

As far as I know Green lights = "Young" driver. Red lights = Race driver.

I remember some teams using blue lights in the wet a few years ago too
