Last night I looked at the McDonalds that I've previously used as a location & they built a entrance for a hospital in the way of my shot, so I went closer to Duggans for a few.
While I was shooting, a older couple from out of town stopped & asked me what the occasion was that all the people were out on the side of the street for. I said that this was normal for Woodward in the Summer. "Think a guy & his GF out on Woodward in the evening in the 1960s, '70s, '80s, '90s... It's still going on!"
1. This location is a little tight for the 70-200 when cars are in the close lane. The 28-70 would be ideal for this shot, but not long enough for the far lanes. So I stuck with the 70-200.
At 9:08 there was still some direct sunlight, but I like to start shooting early to smooth out my panning.

3. 9:21 & the sun is down. So are some of the lovely orange barrels. ; ( On the bright side, there's still some light in the sky to put some highlights in the body.
