I have photoshop CS5. I hardly ever use it. LR4 is where I live.
However, from time to time I need the power of photoshop, so I go to it.

I started editing some senior pictures I took. She wanted those blemishes that teens so often get off of her face.
When I started working everything was fine. The healing brush was making a circle, and you could make the circle change larger or smaller size.

Suddenly the circle turned to a small dot with 4 lines coming from it. I can't find anything to get it back to being a circle again.

I googled the problem, but no luck. Anyone ever run into this problem and be able to solve it? Sure would like to get back to normal.

Lol, this should be a sticky. I think everyone who has ever used photoshop has had this happen to them at one point or another. That darn caps lock screws up everything!

The problem is that the stickies would be bigger than the site. Theres so much to remember, and every piece of software is different.

Thanks guys for the replies. When I get home today I will check that out. I had the feeling that it was something simple and "dumb on my part". Lowner, you are right about the size of the sticky. Photoshop is a monster.

If only to cover up the hole of shame.

The Tab key sees so much more use than caps; why not switch them places?

This has happened to me a few times and I have finally committed to memory that its the caps lock. One time I spend hours trying to figure it out, almost reinstalled PS. Why I didn't just look online I dont know.

So much this, I remember trying to install something and I get the usual username/password window, and spend like 10 minutes figuring why my password doesn't work when I can enter it blindfolded. Checked account name, language input, tested for stuck keys, etc.

Then I noticed the VERY dim caps light, glowing a soft green as if it were mocking me- "Shoulda noticed me earlier, beotch!".

Never again.

Cruise-control for cool.

I tried to find the answer with google and after going to multiple sites, I had no luck.
I then posted this thread to POTN, and I got the answer in minutes.

POTN = The way to go.
