Looking for help from LR gurus.
Is there a way to convert RAWs to DNG and then export to JPG automatically on import ?

If you had a house that you could enter through the front door and exit through the back door at the same time, that wouldn't leave room for much of a house between the two doors. When I import photos, I apply a preset with some adjustments (increase vibrancy and clarity, some minor modifications). The DNGs converted with this preset generally look better, to me, than SOOC JPEGS. I would rather import and convert at same time, this way if I need to share some photos right away I have a better set available. Ex-Canon shooter. Now Sony Nex.

Not quite all-in-one, but pretty quick. This is basically what I do if I need to produce jpegs quickly. The only difference is I'll still at least look through all of the photos, since I always have some that need a little bit of a crop, slight exposure or contrast boost, etc.

I haven't heard a way to do what you describe, just the approach IslandCrow describes, it's pretty quick and easy to just to a quick Export with whatever presets you want to apply either as an Export function or as an Import function (or using a Publish function).
