It was my first time shooting Cycling today, I really enjoyed it, got to play around with shutter speeds and focal lengths, here are two of my favourites

Some 2 lights action shots...at times, the effect is subtle. Depending on the shot angles and as well as if the riders are within the cone of field of light.....

Need your opinions about this shot. It was an impromptu group shot after the race. Location wasn't known. All I had was 2 off camera speedlites firing at the same power. It was 1 stop overexposed. I had to dial down the highlight to recover the white... the pose wasn't perfect and I saw some plastic bag there....hmmm...the more I look at it, the more I feel that the skin tone is somewhat pale... I should have lowered the light stands to light up the bikes more.....Maybe moving the light stands another 2 feet further out... Will try again next week....:)

Was at a velodrome for the first time (for a volleyball tournament!) this past week. I used to road race, but never photographed cycling before, so had to get a few shots while I was there...

The distance is 500 feet, and the average grade is 18 percent.
