Just another idea for everyone

Took my insert from my Pelican 1514 into mo SOC Bugout Backpack.

Good stealth idea. Plus, I doubt many people have the minerals to try and steal from a soldier!

Very nice! I assume it's "snug enough" when closed to prevent an item from falling out of the padded tray?

Yes, have yet to have any issues with items moving from their locations. And i can fully load it down with light stands, umbrellas, and strap my QBox to the back using the molle Straps.

Bonus and reason i bought this bag originally for R&R trips was the shoulder and waist straps fold/zip in and it can be used as a suit case for plane rides.
