What degree of a circle is the pano? It only looks like its 90 degrees but I am sure its much more. I am trying to figure out the 9 shots. It looks like 4 verticals but maybe its 9 horizontals? one on top of the other?

Nice image by the way. Must be a monster to process in PS.

My FOV was limited because I was standing outside the horse fence looking into the backyard of the famous Elmendorf Farm. Someday if I get good enough maybe they'll let me in to do some real work :)

So I'm leaning on the fence with the 24-70@24/F16 and I started from the left where the fence could not be seen. They are all verticals; hence the need for 11. I sorta knew I was doing it wrong because I had read some stuff about handheld panos and I was using my arms to rotate (have since then been reading about rotating around the lens) and I kept going until some building started popping up beyond the tree. So I am gonna guess 120-130 degrees?

Just plopped them all into CS5, kept the defaults, cropped, and processed to my liking. I should have HAMSTTRed, but I dont think I did. As you can see the entire fence is tree lined, hence the shade in the foreground. I kinda like that. That tree may look a little distorted, but its not far from the truth; it is shaped weird like that.

7950x3052 final cropped size ... 22.2MB. I don't know how big the PSD is. I just opened the JPG in Paint and did a quick resize to 1024x393 so I could get it up to flickr :)

I have since then found some videos about how to do some perspective (?) corrections in CS5 where you drop some points on the image and stretch and drag to normalize an image. I'll try another edit once I have learned how to do that and see if the image can be enlarged. And yes, I have a 2 year old AMD Athlon X2 with 16GB ... it is a beast to process :)
