First time on the Forum and looking for advice.

350D Sigma 18-200 from my back yard - Early morning - cloud cover complete in 10 minutes

Canon 600D, 40D, 350D + 50mm 1.8, Sigma 18-200is, 70-200 2.8DG and 70-300. Still have A1 and 300 EOS and must get out my Rollei TLR sometime

Very good shot! I would only have put the horizon a bit higher or lower, so that it is not in the middle. Tends to give a "two photo effect".

Nice shot, i'd crop out the branches on the left, at the bottom and perhaps a bit of the sky too. Otherwise great!

You have a fabulous view from your back yard! The orange colour changes so quickly, I'm assuming you've used a gradient filter.....if so how does the original look? It would be intersting to compare the two. Welcome to the forum and keep posting your photographs.

I used a grad filter effect in photoshop to darken the sky a little. Have tried all sorts of crops - but end up with an odd shape, perhaps a square format. Am restricted by my own trees so I have to negiotiate "natural framing" Took various exposures as the light was changing rapidlt and within 10 min there was complete cloud cover for the day!
