A friend and elder took us out to see an overhanging rocky cliff which overlooked the slave river. We went back to photograph it at night and I got some aurora and moonlight in this multi-shot panorama sequence.

Jul 28, 2013 09:38 | #6 What my eyes keep drawing to is the person in the picture and what are they doing . Looks like they are photographing something to the far right and not the aurora . Very weird and that's what throws the whole picture off for me . How would the image look if you dropped the exposure a notch or two ?

That and it was a real **** to do this pano, wasn't very clean to stitch at all so I never ended up printing or featuring it much of anywhere Celestron wrote in post #16160449 What my eyes keep drawing to is the person in the picture and what are they doing . Here is what the area looks like a few stops lower than what I was shooting at. http://thomas-koidhis.deviantart.com/art/Secret-Cliff-271334271 Karl I got to admit the image a few stops down is georgous and exactly how I would expect a night time shot with moon to look ! Colors are great sharp , good detail and no distraction with that person in the view . When I saw this other image my eyes' automatically scanned from left to right and amazed at the colors ! That would be a wallhanger for me !
