Anyone know of a speedlight bracket to attach to a Photogenic mount? Seems they're made for Bowens and Elinchrom but can't find anything for Photogenic since not as common. Anyone have a do-it-yourself version?

What are you trying to attach? I use primarily Photogenic Lighting with PhotoFlex Modifiers, however, when I want to use a soft box or other modifier, I simply take that soft box off of the Photogenic Speedring and place it onto the Bowens Speedring so that it will attach to my Speedlite Bracket. The only thing that you probably could not attach is a Reflector or Beauty Dish since those adapters are permanently fix to the modifier itself. Which in that case you'll probably have to purchase a Reflector or Beauty Dish with a Bowens Mount.....

You got it... That's what I'm trying to do. I happened to acquire a nice Photogenic dish and it's not compatible with my other gear. However, if I can convert it for use with speedlights I think I can actually get some use out of it.

O.K., then here's what you can do.....
If you don't have photogenic lighting whereby you can or would use the dish on, then you could just simply (well, maybe not simply) cut off the photogenic adapter that's on the dish, then purchase a Bowens adapter and mount it onto the photogenic dish using screws

Yeah, always an option. I just don't want to destroy something others might be able to appreciate or use later in original form, especially since this 20" dish is now hard to find. Easiest thing would be to sell it to someone who has a need, but so far no takers. Meanwhile, I felt an elegant solution would be finding a speedlight bracket made to fit Photogenic.
