I always dread shooting hip-hop shows because there's so much action happening on stage, but this one turned out okay. Lighting was a little funky but I fixed it in LR the best I could. Happy with how everything turned out though.

Great pics! As an amateur, this situation strikes me as the most challenging I could imagine...dark setting, so much to expose, and so much motion to freeze.

I love the last pic, the way you captured the stage lighting and audience. Awesome!

Loved these guys back in the 90's.

And knowing their music, I'd imagine they'd be hard to shoot.

Nice work!

Thanks guys! I guess it also helped that Layzie Bone didn't even show up, so it was easier to shoot 4 guys on stage instead of 5. Even the other Bone Thug members didn't even know where he was. Can't say the man doesn't live up to his name. :p

Great job. What lens did you use? What type of iso did you shoot at?

That first shot was taken with the 15mm fisheye. The rest were taken from the side of the stage with the 70-200L f/2.8 II. ISO was between 8000-10000 on most shots.

Agree. Hip hop can be super tricky to shoot. I feel you did a great job here!!
