Please let me know what you think, what you would have done differently.
Below conversion and original photo, a snap shot of a friend of my daughter. Thank you for looking,
Canon 6D, EF50mm

I think you made a big improvement. Personally, I like the crop. I would not try to center her, and I would not try to push her to fit the rule of thirds in this case. Perhaps just a little sharpness filter to bring in a little more detail in her hair.

Nice conversion, great timing. The crop looks good to me. If anything I might trim a bit off the left side.

Thank you for your comments. I've been browsing the B&W section, looking at many of the photos my reaction is WOW! when will I be there? but is encouraging and I'm learning a lot just looking other people photos.
