Fuji X-T1 + Petzval 85mm f/2.2 (some samples)
on a mirrorless camera with Focus peaking this lens is SHARP.... on my canon 5d MKIII its very hard to get the focus @ f/2.2 through the optical Viewfinder.

Oct 16, 2014 20:05 | #19 interesting lens. I'm not a fan of the wavy stuff in the bokeh, but the other photos are quite nice. A bit too expensive for my taste and I can get similar effects with my lens babies, but if it were half the price I'd probably get one. It's just such a special use that it would not make sense for me right now to spend $600 on it. Though I'd love to see the looks of people when I show up with a brass pipe attached to my camera, LOL 40D, 5D3, a bunch of lenses and other things

I'd be stuck with using Liveview at 10x, I think, and stationary objects...at f2.2 anyway. So that's what's kept me away from the lens. Cameras: 1DX, 1D4, 20D, 10D, S90, G2

(of all places) and snapped a few shots... overall this lens is Center Sharp with the Focus Peaking.... Overall, this lens performs pretty sweet... people were wandering what was this Shiny Gold thing on my camera, though... lol -David T.
