ALMS @ CTMP

The final ALMS race at the former Mosport Park leaves many to wonder if the new USCR will be returning, or if this was the last dance for a major sportscar race at the fabled track for years to come.

It will be sad to not have such sexy cars racing in Canada next year, should Mosport not get a race date in the unified series schedule in 2014 and beyond.

Nice shots, I really like the perspective. And no ALMS (or whatever the new name is of the merged series is) at Mosport???? Sacrilege. I hate how slowly, slowly, the classic tracks are dwindling away. I understand on one hand, but on an emotional level, DAMN would I like to see F1 return to Watkins Glen, for example.

Nice clean shots. I gotta think that Mosport will make it on the schedule, I also have to think the schedule is close to set for 2014, just wish they would publish it.

The schedule is done, just a matter of finalizing contracts with some of them. The other issue is possibly needing split races due to car counts. You can't exactly put 70+ cars on the track at Lime Rock, Baltimore, or Long Beach.

Paddock space is also another challenge. Road America has added an additional acre of asphalt for the ALMS/Grand Am weekend, and that's even going to be tight...should be published in 30-45 days max.

Amazing red hair, oh and the cars are nice too.

She was a grid girl, and if they had not done grid walk at the same time as lunch, I may have chatted her up to find out where she was from, but I need to eat at regular times, and just hurried down the grid and back to eat lunch, which was a rushed affair and I paid the price for that for about half the race itself.

The Falken Tire girl they had is actually an Atlanta Hawks cheer leader.

Best thing about a redhead is they are hard to misplace in a crowd of blondes!!!
