First time I've had the opportunity to test this lens. Autofocus seems to be good, but I really want to test it under low light.

I drove out to MCI and shot a couple of landings. It seems to be plenty sharp. The zoom ring isn't in the best position, but I suppose I'll learn how to use it with more practice.

Yes. It's lighter than the 500 f/4 mk1. It's still a handful.
