Hope this is in the right place...
I have a copy of Breezebrowser Pro installed and it shows me the overlay of the 20D's focus points and highlights in red the one(s) used.

I actually use RawShooter Premium for my RAW conversion and this does not appear to support this - I was just wondering - does any other program give this feature, I can't even see it in Canon's DPP??

Thanks...

I know EOS viewer or one of the canon programs does it, didn't know breeze browser did it. CS2 doesn't AFAIK.

EOS Viewer & BB Pro are the only ones I'm aware of that decode that information. In fact, BB Pro is the only non-Canon software that I know that understands all Canon's maker notes; most other apps miss some to a greater or lesser extent.

Ah yes, forgot all about EOS viewer, I have not even installed this since getting a new PC.
Sometimes it's nice to be able to see why a shot is out of focus - Shame RSP doesn't show them :-(
Anyway, thanks for the replies, It's not really a problem using BB Pro, I do tend to use it for quick slide-shows anyway.
I just wonder why nobody else has put this feature into their software?

PhaseOne C1 doesn't do this either... one of the few drawbacks of this otherwise excellent software.

Kevin, I think Chris Breeze is the only one outside of Canon that has a good enough understanding of the maker notes to use the data.

Thanks for all the comments, I didn't think any other software did show them.

I'm not sure how this feature helps? How are you using (or intend to use) this feature? I use a single focus point, and recompose, so the overlay wouldn't really reflect what I was actually focusing on.

It's just that some shots of moving objects (mainly horses) I have taken look a bit soft and when looking at the point of focus sometimes it is obvious I have (or the camera has) focused on the grass in front or behind the subject for instance - Just one example.
It is not intended to be used as a 'tool' as such - I was realy just interested if any other software had this feature.
In your case of focusing and re composing it would be useless and the best thing to do would be to turn this feature off :-)

Thanks for the info, I was wondering what I might be missing by not using the software at all.
