Just wondering if this is a normal symptom of batteries on their way out. These are a few years old, pre-eneloop NIMH batteries. I charge them and they read the normal 1.35-1.4v with my multimeter right after they come out of the charger. But when I use them in my speedlights right after charging, they have like a 15 second recycle time. They perform like another set of batteries I had that needed charging that measured .95v.

Just think it is weird that it measures normal volts but ovbiously isn't delivering it to the flashgun. I guess they get demoted to Wii duty.

Yes,.. this is fairly normal for dying cells. Voltage with no load is a bad way to tell the health of the battery - if you were to put these batteries under a slight load and test the voltage I'd bet it would drop way off.

I agree with Ben,.. Wii them!
