This were taken a few weeks ago at the San Luis NWR. I wasn't sure I liked it, but decided to go ahead and post anyway. I'm unable to get out of the car easily due to my current disability, so this was shot out of the side window of the car...

You are a very brave man Mike, others would just sit in the house all day doing nothing.
Just your will, even trying to get that picture (which by all means looks great to me) out the window,is enough for me.:)
I admire you for that.;)

Thanks for the encouraging words Dimitri!

Sometimes I wish I had the option of sitting at home on disability, but it doesn't pay well! This location is on my way to work, so it makes for a nice detour.

While I would love to be able to walk right now, my situation gives me the opportunity to look at subjects in a different view. I've gotten pretty good at manuevering my car for that "perfect angle"!

Hope to have some new knees within the next few months... :D

A very atmospheric shot, quite eerie with the water being so calm along with the fog.

Great shot Mike. I have discovered it's not where you shoot it, it's how good you are at creating the shot. Well done.

Greetings Mike, This pic is suberb; interesting subject and great colors capturing a tranquil mood. One of my friends could barely walk before his knee operation, now he is one of the best amatuer cyclists in western North Carolina. Best wishes, Keith
