Little bit of everything, here's my full gallery: http://www.dcanavanphoto.com/p337226985 (external link)

Not actually able to make the time to enjoy the show, but having a 1hr rest stop from the 4 wheeled conveyance was enough to have me jazzed for a while. Was hoping to get some shots of RV-10s, one arrived as I was pulling up, and just after I departed, such is life. Having a radio tuned into the controllers was also, very neat to hear and extremely helpful in getting dialed in for the next shot between pans, knowing where and what to look for and what the plane was about to do.

And I ate it up, I love busier clouds in aviation shots, much in the same manner they provide accent to landscapes, I think the clouds do a lot better than perfectly clear blue skies. I kinda thought we'd have seen more OSH photos by now (esp considering I spotted what looked like a 500 f4 not too far away, not to mention all the cameras passengers where holding), but I suspect we may have to wait until folks get home and have the time to edit and bandwidth to upload.

Thanks for checking out the gallery, PhotosGuy. I tried to pick out a little bit of everything with the field being so diverse, but there was certainly a ton that any showing at my local airport would've been post worthy.

^^ I agree, I like clouds in aviation shots. Blue sky with a few puffy white clouds looks real pretty. ;)

BTW, anyone get a shot of RocketMan?

I'm a sucker for the 190/195. You could have naked women in the rest of the pictures and I'd still gaze longingly at the Shaky Jake Cessna. (Note: I'm married, so I see a naked woman on a routine basis. Still.....) :)
