The link provided doesn't work for me but "yes" version 1.3.2 dated 7/30/2013 is available at the Canon website.

That link is what happens when somebody thinks they are scooping everyone, and quickly highlights a shortened forum link URL and pastes it. ;)

Here is the working link though. :)

Nothing really that important though, IMO.

It happens alot, perhaps not in your situation, but is a true general statement, especially around firmware updates and new releases. I apologize for angering you, it was meant to be fun and light-hearted as well and not some derogatory remark. Thank you for keeping everyone updated on the firmware updates over the past few years in the EOS firmware sticky! :)

New Firmware for Canon 1D MKIV V 1.1.4

Not sure where to post this, but Canon has released firmware version 1.1.4 for the Canon 1D MKIV last night

Listed fixes ...
Firmware
Firmware Version 1.1.4 for the Canon EOS-1D Mark IV camera incorporates the following fixes:
1. Resolves the following phenomenon: when the camera is not attached to a lens, power consumption may be higher than usual,
causing premature battery drain.
2. Resolves a phenomenon in which “Err 02” may be displayed when the shutter is released without a lens attached.

When I saw the title I thought it might have been an update to allow centrepoint AF. No chance.

I wasn't aware that those cameras couldn't do centre-point AF!
