Laying eggs

I went outside around 10:00 last night to see if the moonflowers were blooming. They were not. On my way back in I noticed a ½ inch moth buzzing around the light so I watched to see if it would rest long enough for a quick picture. It finally headed down to the grass and lit on the stem of some grass. I managed to get down close enough to take a picture and when I got focus I noticed, through the viewfinder, she was laying eggs. Needless to say I was fascinated. Here are a few shots. The eggs are about the size of a pin head. I could barely see them without magnification.

Interesting pattern on the eggs. Are you going to check back on them at all? Would be amazing if you managed to get one hatching.

I went back the next day to check and I was unable to locate them. They were so very tiny. Even the piece of grass they were on was tiny.
