I have a 5D MK111 and was thinking about trying this Magic Lantern.
What are your opinions on ML?
What do you like about it?
Thanks for your feedback.

It certainly adds a lot of nice features, no one has ever reported a broken camera from having used it, so it's really up to you whether to use it or not.

It does tend to have some bugs now and then, that may affect the performance of the camera in unintended ways, for example on my 5D2 it causes the battery to drain even when the camera is powered off, requiring me to keep ML on a separate CF card that I swap in when I specifically need ML features.

I acquired an expensive camera so I can hang out in forums, annoy wedding photographers during formals and look down on P&S users... all the while telling people it's the photographer, not the camera.

A quick forum search turned up this link. It's an interesting discussion about expanded dynamic range. The thread also has links to other threads and sites.
