Hey all,
Just got back form a trip to the Adk mountains and came back with at least one shot that I like.

It's certainly novel. And the processing is good considering how little you have to work with. But, with such a minimalist subject, the shapes and composition have to be great to pull it off. Personally, I find the figures in the canoe too ordinary.

Thanks for the comment.
I'm a little confused on how to make people in a canoe look less ordinary, though next time I'll keep my eye out for Batman & Robin in one instead!

Most admit I like it, but maybe could do with a little more contrast on the canoe/people to make it pop.

You may want to post a slightly smaller version of the picture for this post, but its a great shot!

I like it. It's a pleasant respite from the endless waterfall, etc., shots... Have you tried a B & W conversion?

Thanks for all the kind words everyone.
I haven't tried a black and white version, but if any of you wanted to take a go at it feel free.

Thanks
