Really, for landscape - any lakes with good reflection potential are worth visiting. Scenes with the Rockies in the background for sunset could make for a great shot too. I often look through google images to find scenes that look interesting in any given area, find out where the location is if I like the image, and then travel there to get my own take and twist on the scene. The roads are nice, but much of the action is off the roads a mile or two. "Raw" is not an acronym, abbreviation, nor a proper noun; thus, it should not be in capital letters.

I typically drive up to that parking area around 4 pm for evening shooting. The trail leads to Alberta Falls, which is quite popular. But higher up about a mile and a half from the parking lot is a 3-way fork. The left goes to Mills Lake, the middle to Sky Pond and the right to Lake Haiyaha, all of which are a total of 2.5 miles or less from parking lot to destination. The key is you have to get off the trail. Even just a couple hundred yards away you can find shots that few people have made, because most people stay on the trail and only shoot from the trail. Here are a few recent shots from that area. I typically shoot in the 14mm to 80mm range on crop sensor. "Raw" is not an acronym, abbreviation, nor a proper noun; thus, it should not be in capital letters.
