A piece of plastic just got out of my camera!!!!

I swap my focus screen (6D) around all the time. I clean the dust off with a microfiber cloth regularly. It's not that fragile.

Agreed, many people parrot what they read, but once you clean a sensor, or the mirror, or the focusing screen, you learn that with patience and the right tools and materials, none of them are all that super fragile after all. :)
