GX7 announced

Looks nice but I can't help thinking that it's an answer to a Nex 7 that's about to be replaced?

If Canon is going to continue the EOS M I hope they pay attention to the GX7.

Yep, the GX7 has all the features I hoped the next M would have.

It's good to see not everyone is eliminating the built-in viewfinder.

Is the sensor the same as the om-d? What adapters are available for canon lenses just now

No, it's a new Panasonic sensor which may, or may not, be as good as or even better than the one in the OM-D. There are plenty of 3rd party adapters that let you use Canon EF lenses, but you'll lose auto focus and aperture control (i.e. the lens will be used wide open).

true, but looks good to get my GF to ditch her 7D, since she wants to use my OM-D all the time.

This is the first m4/3s camera that remotely interests me. Sensible, modern, non-skeumorphic design.

Shame about the tiny sensor, though.
