Hopefully someone can help me with some ideas on creating an action.....this seems like it should be easy but I'm missing something.
I have a particular template (a sports template) in PSD format. I would like to add an image of each player into this template (there's a "smart object" layer for the image to be added) and then have it saved as a JPEG (The end result will be a JPEG of each player, by him/herself on the template that I can then print) It's easy enough to do manually, just select the smart object layer and "replace smart object" with the photo of each player and then save as JPEG....however that is very tedious when it needs to be done hundreds of times. How can I create an action where I can select the images of the players and have each one inserted into the template and then saved as a JPEG that's ready to print? I'm thinking this is something easy that I'm just overlooking. Using PS6 BTW and familiar with creating actions....I just can't figure this one out. Thanks.
