Great shots but why 800 ISO?

For some reason my pictures appear soft when I shoot hand held at slower shutter speeds, maybe I drink to much coffee, so I bumped up the ISO to get a faster shutter speed. (still learning the flash also)

She always makes funny/silly faces for the camera. So many shots of her I get with her eyes closed also.

Thanks

Nicely exposed. How did you shoot the flash?

To be honest, I just connected it to the camera and turned it on. I let the camera do the communicating with the flash. I still have a lot to learn about flash photography and photography in general. That is why I spend so much time reading these forums. The best thing I have found that improved my flash photography is the use of the Light Sphere II from Gary Fong.

Beautiful shots Jet...

And I have to agree, one of the best add-ons I have bought is the LS2...it does a great job...:)

Keep shooting!

I was wondering what you meant by LPII :o . It is a great little gadget, your shots prove it.

They are all nice, but the last one is extra sweet. You could crop it a bit on the sides, possibly try a vertical version. Sweet.

Do you find that you have to alter the "normal" flash exposure settings with the LP II?

Great shots. I think the cropped shot is definitely better for what its worth
