As many folks are never going to print a picture and only see them on their screen what's the point of the huge pixel count? The funny part was not the content of pixel count discussion, but the "Forest Gump of photography" . . . that's what I thought was funny. I've never heard of anyone tagging themself as the "Forest Gump" of anything.

Aug 02, 2013 16:02 | #9 I don't believe that more pixels automatically means a better image, but it does give you more latitude in cropping. I appreciate that I can crop a landscape image into a portrait and still have enough pixels for a 300dpi+ 8x10. Try that with 6MP.
