We were surprised by rain this morning, and like clockwork, if its cold, I get visited by hummingbirds. And this one is special to me, because this rufous hummingbird is a casual visitor. I think she is just passing by, on her way back to Mexico :)

Beautiful...love the colors of the Rufous along with the background you managed in these...#2 and #3 compliment the Hummingbird perfectly. :D

Great stuff Jo, in the rain no less! Beautiful shots of a beautiful Hummer, I only get to see the Ruby's here, another fantastic set, especially with the light available, well done indeed!

Oh man oh man, what a beautiful set. The light seems to have been just perfect when you took these, Jo, especially in the last three. I am absolutely loving all the Hummer shots posted at the moment (Rog, Bret, Ted), and this is another thread that is a sheer delight to view. Excellent work, Jo.
