I have to put them on my work as I have had multiple shots used in publications without consent. I have to do something.
These forums are often where work is stolen, sadly. Even top GT racing teams have used my images without consent/purchase. It seems to be the world we live in. Shame you guys can't see beyond them I tried to make the AE in middle transparent so not too obstructive - but just enough to detract people using in publication.

This is not true whatsoever if you take proper means to protect them. Filling your photos with ugly watermarks is not the solution. If you only post low-resolution images (all my flickr photos are cropped to 800x533/533x800) then no one can print the images. I could care less if someone stole my low res image and printed a 3 inch photo...As for internet use, one SUBTLE watermark will work. I don't like your facebook, twitter, and website on the photo itself. That is what your signature is for.
