Had a great time, as a spectator. Of course I took my camera too but travelled light. A couple of good viewing points though, here's 6 of my efforts:

#1 Good to see Hamilton back on it

IMAGE: http://www.ae-photography.co.uk/albums/2013-f1-hungary-photos/slides/F1_Hungary_2013_AE_059.jpg

#2 Romain was quick, even through the trees

#3 Ferrari action

#4 Sizeable crowd

#5 Go go go

#6 Job done

I think your multiple watermarks really pollute your images, which would otherwise be quite good

Yup logos and watermarks everywhere totally detract from the images.

:(

I have to put them on my work as I have had multiple shots used in publications without consent. I have to do something. These forums are often where work is stolen, sadly. Even top GT racing teams have used my images without consent/purchase. It seems to be the world we live in. Shame you guys can't see beyond them I tried to make the AE in middle transparent so not too obstructive - but just enough to detract people using in publication.

understand completely the reason for watermarks, these are very good shots!

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

Great photos but the watermarks are really distracting. Why even both sharing if you're going to ruin the viewing experience. If you're worried about someone stealing your photos, just share less frames.

The Friday and Saturday you could move pretty much anywhere. Plenty of fencing of course but some areas above it or can just about get through it with slow shutter speed. Not all of the circuit is accessible. Really only from the chicane to the last corner but still some stuff to work with. Sunday was really busy so having a grandstand seat was ideal, didn't fancy being in a pissed up scrum. Overall not bad for snaps. The city is really pretty too. Especially at night :)

I love #2 - really get a sense of speed these cars are going at.

This is not true whatsoever if you take proper means to protect them. Filling your photos with ugly watermarks is not the solution. If you only post low-resolution images (all my flickr photos are cropped to 800x533/533x800) then no one can print the images. I could care less if someone stole my low res image and printed a 3 inch photo...As for internet use, one SUBTLE watermark will work. I don't like your facebook, twitter, and website on the photo itself. That is what your signature is for.

Watermark discussion aside, shot #2 above is brilliant!

Fair do's understand what you're saying. The reason why I have it is because my pics have been hotlinked onto other forums and places on the internet so having my contact details on the actual image is handy so people know who originally took it. Sorry if you don't like it.

Thanks mate. Probably my favourite "bit different" shot of the experience :)
