I've been working on my landscape photography and would appreciate any comments and critiques on this photo. Taken with a T2i and 15-85 lens with polarizer.

Hey man !

I'm trying to think what were you trying to achieve here composition wise etc. - also ,were you focusing more on the technical aspect or on the creative one ? because I think you kinda missed on the latter.

Another thing , when you uploaded it here - did you resize it ? I have no idea how to properly resize images for web use , what I do is upload them to flickr / 500px and then share the link here [BB CODE] and it shows better on the forums.

EDIT :

Like this , I really recommend.

I have to agree, it's a little cluttered, no wow factor, no pop, no clear composition with foreground and background. I can kinda see what you were going for, but I think a different composition would have been better.

I'd have a go at shooting this again, maybe early evening or morning...

Thanks for the comments, guys. This photo was originally in portrait orientation but I cropped it because I thought it helped the photo. After hearing your comments, maybe I should have left it in portrait orientation. I'll revisit the original and see what I can do. The photo was taken at about 9:30 am. I've only posted a handful of pics and I always seem to struggle with getting them sized correctly. I'm using iPhoto and I just recently opened a flickr account.
