And now I'm confused. I noticed on the 498RC4 specs it lists "Attaches by: 1/4" - 3/8" screw attachment type"

And on the 498RC2 specs it says: "1/4" screw attachment type"

"Attachment" refers to how it attaches to the tripod?

Attaches by" refers to the hole in the camera?

What's the standard size for an EOS camera?
