With all this talk about "fake" Skylines, I have decided to show a few shots I took of mine:

Some background on the car

2005 Infiniti G35 Coupe 6MT

MODS:
Custom Projector Headlights
Custom CCFL Parking Lights
Custom LED Sidemarkers
OEM Front Lip
Debadged

Comments/Criticism appreciated.

In the rear I removed all the emblems (Except for the Infiniti symbol). So there are no letters on my car designating the name/model. I think it looks cleaner that way.

debadging is actually removing the manufacturer logo, so removing the infiniti logos from the grill and rear trunk would be to fully debadge your vehicle.

I think we've become too common to removing emblems as being known as debadging a vehicle... If that were the case, anybody can debadge their cars. The whole purpose of truly debadging a vehicle is to be unique, and fill the "holes" the emblem left with your own creative touch, whether it's a new grill or a new fill-n-paintjob.

Besides the point...

I'm diggin the last shot! For some reason, and I can't place it, the composition of the first photo doesn't do it for me. Second image is very high contrast, a bit blown out on the rear panel, and the lines of the picture have my eyes folow it to the "to stairwell" sign... The color of your G was hard to shoot, wasn't it? Not sure if it wants to be more gray or more brown... My friend has the same color and she's always complaining about how her car is never the same color in different photographs.

Overall, Good job! Would like to see more from the set!

Good lighting & nice shots! Can't say that I care much for the background in the last one, though.

Wouldn't that be "shaving" the emblems? You are right though, it isn't a full on debadge since I left the logos on the grill and trunk lid.

Well if you're gonna lower it, I hope you do it correctly and swap out not just the springs, but the shocks/struts as well.

Also, I do very very highly suggest that you take it to some local auto-xs and track events to learn how to drive it to its fullest potential.

oh and I love the last shot. The parking garage is soooo played out for cars. - I'm sure you already know this, but they're so convenient, huh?

Yup, I never do a "half-baked" type of job. My headlight project took me over 2 months to complete. When it comes to my car I do things right or I don't do them at all.

I am already involved in the local AutoX circuit and have signed up for track time this spring.

I agree with the parking garage being played out. Unfortunately or fortunately, I live right across from NYC. In this post-9/11 world most public areas are HEAVILY guarded and off limits for taking pictures. I have tried many locations at the waterline only to be harassed within minutes of getting there. I am always keeping my eye out for more locations though.
