RAAF F-18 Hornet Scramble

I don't see a lot of military aviation where I'm based these days (alas) but I do get the odd one.

As for the colour version, it just doesn't work which is why I initially wholly rejected this image. I was then looking to process something specifically in B&W having just done a landscape in B&W and played with the original of this, resulting in the above image.

The colour version is sub-par, so my apologies, but if I'm not happy with something it doesn't get seen (genuinely not being funny with you).

Very understandable.

I just thought it would be interesting to see how far the image has come with the work you've done on it. Most of us here are learning how to process and improve our pics, and it can be useful to see what can be done.

Thanks for your understanding. I'm in the process of translating to a pro so I am being particularly discerning considering what I post up on-line hence me rejecting the colour version for public display on account of me not being happy with it.
