Hello ladies & gents here are a few shots I took. I just got hooked on macro and need help advice and all the tips you have to give. Criticism and pointers are highly welcome.

I don't have any pointers or CC, as I am just beginning myself. I will say, however, that those are really good captures.

Those black things, they kinda look like eggs? I'm curious too

Lovely series of captures.
Suspect the dots in the last shot are aquatic mites

I tend to look at the shots form others and jump on the critical side of my own. Someone else told me that they were really good but I look at what others are doing and feel like I could do more. It has only been 2 weeks or so doing macro so I hope I can learn from you guys here and my own trial and error on how to get better. Thanks all

A good start - the one bit of advice to add is that most macro subjects that have eyes, work best when you focus on them just as you would the portrait of a person - get the eyes in focus.

Thanks Paul I will keep that in mind, for me it was a learning thing on how to close to get so I was trying to keep the subject in one spot for a bit. I a, going to work on getting better. This weekend hopefully I will get some 28-135 all the reviews said it was good but I guess time will tell.

I love the shots, good composition and interesting subjects.

Keep at it, and enjoy the results. I would be pleased if these were my shots.
